Well yesterday was a pretty good day, despite being up at the butt-crack of dawn. I worked 'til 3:30, and made $50 in tips, which is excellent for a Saturday morning in the winter. My dad's shop was having their Christmas party in downtown Deadwood, so I hung around work until they got into town (which took a while, because their bus never showed up or "broke down", and they all had to drive themselves instead).
Quite a few of the employees all pitched in $50 each for a big grand total, got $5 tokens, and found a $5 machine, plinked in their coins, and played only the coins, kept the winnings. I think they each lost about $10. They did the same with a dollar machine, and probably lost about the same amount of money, again.
I found a $5 blackjack table at the Silverado and won $25 there, and then found another $5 table at the Midnight Star, and won another $40 there, for a grand total of $65 won. Go me.
Now, for a nap before I have to get productive! Bye!
